Dr. Joel Dubow

Dr. Joel Dubow has developed and contributed to experimental and mathematical modeling and measurements for systems-of-systems for energy and defense for many years. He has patented a novel approach for quantifying and allocating cybersecurity breaches and has worked with Dr. Yahav Biran on to develop cloud architectures that enable multiple organizations to meet security, energy and computing load needs. He is presently designing a framework syntax for representing all threats to converged cyber systems including IT, IOT, Physical and Human. Prior to this, he published over a hundred refereed publications chaired two academic departments,managed over 15 research programs, and consulted with International Agencies, the US Government, State Governments, and Corporations.

Yahav Biran is a Solutions Architect in Amazon Web Services aka AWS Cloud. Dr. Biran designs reliable, resilient, and secured cloud-based information systems for AWS Cloud customers. He received his Ph.D. (Systems Engineering) from Colorado State University in 2017. He was previously a Technical Program Manager at Microsoft Azure; there he built Azure Ultra Public Computing Service. He has more than 15 years of professional experience in information systems. His research seeks an objective and overall higher fidelity approach to assessing a new electric utility service for cloud computing as System of Systems.
